Do tulpae need last names?

My tulpa's full name is Sylvia Voyde, but it is necessary for her to have the last name?

It's one of those matters that's equivalent to a question, for example, as to whether or not a wonderland is required, otherwise, XYZ event will occur (e.g. the tulpa being dissipated).

 

But, since such notions seem to have value and a clinging effect due to how much the host wants it to be so, it's not really required unless you want to make it so. I haven't even made, nor collaborated on a last name for mine at all.

Our "social self" has a last name, but we both don't :)

 

We are Floh and Cora, and we both are *John Doe* (insert first and last name) to society. We don't need last names inside the system ;)

Nevira and Desmond have last names, purely for fun really. Nevira T'Vani and Desmond Tevinter. (He picked Tevinter from my mind when he was really young, after I'd just finished Dragon Age: Origins and I couldn't remember what it was in the game and it stuck to him :D He thought about changing it later when it became a very repetitive word in Dragon Age: Inquisition but never got around to it.) But yeah, not a requirement or anything.

 

Oh, L took Tevinter as well, somewhat reluctantly at first. Misa doesn't have or really need a last name. She's just Misa :D

We have Luna Armstrong Moonflower and Elise Aldrin Moonflower, but Naomi is simply Naomi and she's never felt the need to change that. So I'm gonna say no, last names aren't necessary.

"Reisen" and "Tewi" don't strictly have last names, you could call them both Inaba though. If you did, Udongein would be part of Reisen's name too, Reisen Udongein Inaba.

 

Flandre is now just Flandre, because Scarlet (exists) is just Scarlet. They were split from one tulpa and each took part of the name.

 

Lucilyn Suwa is Lucilyn's full name, officially. I specifically named her, so I gave her a last name which was the inspiration of the inspiration for her appearance and personality to some extent.
