The only thing keeping me from making a final decision is because I'm already partially attached to a pony tulpa. I'm almost positive I want a human tulpa, but the idea of having a pony one is just as enticing. I think to someone outside of the fandom it seems rather stupid to want a tulpa from a kid's show but after awhile you become attached to their personality. However that's equally bad for the aforementioned identity issues.

Don't listen to tulpatalk. Pony tulpae are the best ever. There will be no identity issues if you just let the tulpa deviate completely.

Do it.

Tulpatalk, I created a non-human tulpa because I didn't want to be creating something that has already been created 6 billion times before... I wanted something special that has never been created before so my tulpa can truly be a unique individual.

That's just it. A tulpa is part of your mind. You want it to be as personal as possible. Also the attachment over time to the show and the character from the show would cause identity issues, as you have identified. I still say that going with a purely original creation as a tulpa is the best option. Not copying the art style or anything, just a original human.

Good. You win. To me it'd be strange bringing into this world something with the mind of a human, but an entirely different form. Having some "thing" around you with everyone else being human would be weird. I'm glad you actually brought in a good argument.

What is it?

[Note: Opinions]

My tulpa looks like a baby that has had its skeleton and muscles removed, so a little like a baby human slug. I moved the eyes onto the hands and also placed a mouth that sits vertically along her torso.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

OH GOD, WHY?

DID YA MISS ME?

Oh that's good, do you mind if I use it?

This hot empty painting should be locked and towed.

I do mind slightly... I was intending to create something unique, but if you feel that you can do something with it, then go ahead.

You could try what I'm attempting if you're that conflicted. I'm hoping to make a pony tulpa that can switch to a human form. If it goes poorly I'm planning on just sticking to a pony, but it's something to think about.

So why wouldn't you go with a human tulpa? I bet I could rebuttle any argument for making a nonhuman tulpa.

I issue this challenge to all.

Because I'm around humans every day of my life. Why would I want one that's with me all the time?
