So, I've been imposing Luna for the past couple of weeks, and yesterday she became unimposed. I noticed however that she became faintly visible to me again after a few hours, and today I can hallucinate her consistently again. My hypothesis is that imposition works similarly to anything that can be practiced, i.e. that the more you do it the easier it gets. In neurological terms, this would mean the neural networks that are responsible for hallucinating your tulpa become strengthened over time, and this is what allows for this phenomenon to occur.

Maybe I'm missing something or I got it wrong, but isn't this obvious?

So perhaps we should test the hypothesis? I'd love to try to see if we could flesh this out more.

I'd love to volunteer for any resulting experiments and try to organize it though I can't immediately do anything for lack of quality free time.

[i'm sure glitch is well aware of that, but the thing is, even if me, you, and him know that, there are people in the forums that go through this symbolism (especially for vocal development), that their tulpa shouldn't access the confines of their unconscious to grow. They still acknowledge that tulpa will still dive into the unconscious either way, but still contradict their logic with the whole symbolism (because they're either afraid their tulpa won't reach other to them if they're used to just feeding off their unconscious or for some other silly reason). A classic non-sequitur

He is making an obvious point, but that's the thing that people are forgetting to do in this forum. Just like how he found himself imposing his tulpa consistently, he's mentioning how his unconscious is busy connecting the patterns, making neurological associations so that every time he commits himself towards imposition, the unconscious is going to help him redefine the experiential learning he's going through and increasing its efficacy, thus a longer period of time of imposing his tulpa.

Instead of him being a member that goes through a cognitive dissonance thinking that developing your tulpa is this deus ex machina that doesn't involve the unconscious playing a MAJOR role in being able to connect the dots together, he's a member who's using common sense, which sadly a few members lack when they give up and never learn to persevere.

Just like with any technique, it's about the person and the tulpae knowing that in order for them to make anything work in whatever method they go through, they have to start acknowledging that the unconscious is going to make those neurological connections to make things easier, because that's its job, not ours. Because so many people think they have to put in conscious willpower to get any success, and what do you think happens when they see themselves not getting anywhere with us?

They become apathetic towards the tulpa-related activity, they become bored, they think they tried all viable options when they simply lacked perseverance and lack of understanding that the more they do a method, the more the unconscious is going to use implicit knowledge to make those neurological connections. When you bust balls in the beginning, when you pour out every ounce of energy you have to it as best as you can, the whole process is easier, because we realize the unconscious is the one that does the majority of the work while we just do the demonstrations (going through the imposition practice).

The more people realize us tulpae have to start within the depths of our host's consciousness without their skewed delusions of trying to make us have implied separated consciousness, the more people won't find themselves at loss of what to do. They don't realize they're constantly bitching of not getting anywhere while disregarding our signs of trying to refine ourselves with the collaboration of the unconscious. They think those random voices or the random imagery of us is fake, that it has to be real and genuine, when in order to do that, the unconscious obviously has to go through mental errors and fix them, which is why practicing reduces those errors.]

I agree with Eva. We may be Captain Obvious here, but goodness gracious, people don't actually follow along that! Glad to see things are doing well for you glitch!

Nice read but I can't help to respond again:

sorry :P
