LifeInside December 28, 2015 December 28, 2015 Basically, in order to direct narration to your tulpa, is it enough to think/say him/her name before I start narrating? Or do i have to visualize her form in my mind while talking or something like that?ย Thank you!! Currently working on Seren, so that she gets to shut me up frequently.
NoneFromHell December 28, 2015 December 28, 2015 You can do it however you like it, it is just important that you have your tulpa in mind while narrating. Tulpa: Alice Form: Realistic Humanoid/Demonic Creation She may or may not talk here, depends on her.
Guest Anonymous December 28, 2015 December 28, 2015 You don't have to visualize your tulpa to talk to it. :-) Just thinking about it will suffice. Also, it's up to you whether you want to address your tulpa by name, to get his or her attention. I don't think that would be necessary either.
LifeInside December 28, 2015 Author December 28, 2015 Well I guess I've been doing it just fine then. Thanks!! Currently working on Seren, so that she gets to shut me up frequently.
Nageki December 28, 2015 December 28, 2015 Arro: If it helps, try consciously getting a feel for what it feels like to talk to another person, then apply that when you're narrating to your tulpa. Things like feeling the other person's presence and sensing their concentration (Sharu: I'm translating Arro's thoughts to words and I'm not actually sure how to translate that last bit; it's sort of like that feeling you get when you know the other person is paying attention to you). It'll make the early stages of narration feel much more organic and less forced, which should help you stay focused on your tulpa while you narrate. Sharu (host) || Arro (tulpa)
Vos December 28, 2015 December 28, 2015 No, you don't have to visualize your tulpa's form. They don't even need to have a form, just make sure that you're focusing those thoughts to your tulpa, directing them like you would when you're reading a book to someone. Names definitely help, yes - it keeps you on track and makes room for some more engagement.

Guest Anonymous December 29, 2015 December 29, 2015 Well, I can actively think things. And if I direct them at Esterina, then she hears it, which simply works via the intention of talking to her. And if not, then she doesn't. (Like, even when I think "Esterina, you're a poopy head!", addressing her, then she will only hear that if I actually have the intention of her hearing it.) So, yeah, that's how it works for me... and it works the same for her when she talks to me as well, it seems.ย ... I'm not a poopy head.ย You're just in denial.ย Nah, seriously though! Was just a joke example. I'd never think that. ... :)ย ย Greets, AG & Rina
FadingSpectrum December 29, 2015 December 29, 2015 Fade: Just talk to them. Like a person. You don't need to look at a person to be talking to them, right? So you don't need to visualize your headmate when you talk to them. If it helps with your visualization to do so or anything like that though, go ahead and do it.
