glitchthe3rd May 23, 2012 Share May 23, 2012 I've been spending at least half an hour every day on narration, not just talking to my tulpa but actually sitting down and going to my wonderland. I've been trying to break it up with stuff like visualization/imposition, but I'm only 13 hours in and she isn't even sentient yet. Also, is there any stuff you can do after they become sentient that counts as tulpaforcing time, like going on adventures or something? Because I'm feeling pretty lost right now. tulpatalk May 23, 2012 Share May 23, 2012 I'm also interested in the second part. As for the first part, you could try to ask your tulpa questions, to see it it will respond. [Note: Opinions]

glitchthe3rd May 23, 2012 Author Share May 23, 2012 Doesn't narration usually come after personality and visualization? I'm skipping around a lot here, not used to taking a structured approach to tulpaforcing so it's just whatever I feel like doing with her. Charlotte May 24, 2012 Share May 24, 2012 Doesn't narration usually come after personality and visualization? Narration is probably best done thoughout the entire cycle, since you're supposed to acknowledge their existance and treat them as alive in order to actually make them become sentient. Anyway why not play a game or something and complain about every possible thing about it. This hot empty painting should be locked and towed. glitchthe3rd May 24, 2012 Author Share May 24, 2012 You think maybe I could go back and spend some more time on personality? I don't like to work on it too much, but maybe I could do that thing where you present a scenario to the tulpa and tell it how it would react under the circumstances. Given how non-linear my approach is, this seems like it wouldn't be a terrible idea. Citizen Anon May 24, 2012 Share May 24, 2012 Skipping around is fine, so long as you save imposition after sentience Anywho, I just blabber on about my day to the tulpa, no specific topic. What I had for lunch, the neckbeard customers at work, my drive home, etc. If she was sentient, I'd probably be boring her to death Name: Lyra Form: http://i.imgur.com/JjMxK.jpg Sentience: Emotional responses, occasional brief vocalization Currently doing: Personality & narration
Bluesleeve May 24, 2012 Share May 24, 2012 Working on personality id always good. Even of its the most difficult thing to do, you can narrate when you are out with friends our talk to other people. Just make remarks about conversational topics to tour tulpa. You can also check out the reminiscent narration method I was mentioning once in the forums. www.tulpa.info/forums/Thread-Reminiscent-Narration?highlight=Reminiscent What is a Tulpa? Guest May 24, 2012 Share May 24, 2012 glitch: I'm between 10 and 11 hours in, and I have no signs of much sentience. Just the emotional responses so far, y'know? When I narrate, I talk to my tulpa about whatever's on my mind right now, though I'm doing a mix of personality and narration at the moment. You are always thinking about something. Tell your tulpa about it, even if it technically already knows; at least it gives you something to talk about, making room for your subconscious to accept the tulpa as another being.
