QB2 September 16, 2012 Share September 16, 2012 Chupi already listed my method. The above post does not contain facts. q2's the host, QB's the tulpa.
FigN01 September 17, 2012 Share September 17, 2012 I've been focusing my eyes onto the open space directly in front of me that Uzo would be occupying during sessions, rather than staring ahead at the surrounding room. With everything else blurred and my attention on his image, his form feels more dense, 3-dimensional, and just there even though I can't see him fully imposed yet. It's like he has his body, but it's just invisible. I think with time and a combination of other methods, he'll come through better.
Chupi September 17, 2012 Share September 17, 2012 My eyes refuse to do what FigN01 describes for more than about a quarter second. If I focus on empty space, my eyes drift back to the next object. Best method. Well, imho. If you're a wizard i mean.
NED September 17, 2012 Share September 17, 2012 Has anyone here closed their eyes. imagined their tupper and tried to touch them? when i did that i couldnt feel her but i felt some really wierd warmth and almost texture. it was tingly and strange like putting your hand near a warm toaster Name - Silver Form - Harpy Sentience - fully sentient Personality - Playful, cheerful, enthusiastic, chilled Smell - Baileys Stage - Narration and imposition
Chupi September 17, 2012 Share September 17, 2012 I do that open-eyed sometimes. I get warmth and imagined texture, rarely faint tingles. It helps me get used to how she fits into the real world. Kindofajerk September 20, 2012 Share September 20, 2012 For those of you who have successfully imposed, what was the process like? Not the method, but your progress. When were you first able to see your tulpa? How long had you been trying? Did it come as a surprise when it finally worked or did you feel on the verge for awhile before hand? Imposition frustrates/perplexes me immensely. Witty signatures are hard to think of.
Chupi September 20, 2012 Share September 20, 2012 I don't have it working yet, but the few glimpses I've seen were quite surprising and made my brain wtf, causing the hallucination to disappear instantly. Strangely it's typically right in the middle of my vision, while these things are supposed to start out working best in the corner of the eye. The first time caught me completely off-guard. I'd been halfheartedly working on imposition for between a couple weeks and a month. I had imagined Lyra sitting in a chair facing me, not expecting to see anything, and I didn't see anything. Later, I went away for a minute to get food, not even thinking about how she was supposed to be in that chair. On my way back, I saw the back of her head above the back of the chair, for a split second. For the tiniest of moments, it felt natural, I suppose like it's supposed to be there. Then almost immediately, the "wait, what" moment and it was gone. It sort of feels like a mind's eye image so vivid it crosses over into real vision, obscuring or blending with what's really there. It helps to be in a sort of meditative or daydream mental state, and expecting something to appear all but ensures that it won't.
