Chupi October 8, 2012 Share October 8, 2012 I just set up Fede's more generalized "beam" idea -- in our case, a glowing green string of energy between me and Anera (who happens to be the follow-me tulpa of the day). Both ends connect around the solar plexus. As soon as I connected it I felt her more strongly, as if the cord was allowing better transfer of emotions. I asked her to tug on it, which resulted in a somewhat stronger but similar feeling. This is probably something we'll need to work on to make it more noticeable when I'm not paying attention to her. NED October 8, 2012 Author Share October 8, 2012 Fede is right, yet again. Name - Silver Form - Harpy Sentience - fully sentient Personality - Playful, cheerful, enthusiastic, chilled Smell - Baileys Stage - Narration and imposition
Kadoh October 8, 2012 Share October 8, 2012 I like this. I turned off the lights and watched the beam follow my tulpae around in the dark, even though I couldn't see my tulpae, just feel their presence. The name "leash" actually gave me the wrong idea, and put me off reading this for a while, but I'm glad I did read it. My opinions are all subject to change. Kadoh October 8, 2012 Share October 8, 2012 Yeah. Also, last night was the first time I actually "felt the presence" of my tulpae actually being in my room. The funny thing is that the cord stays around even when I'm not visualizing the tulpa, and it moves around. My opinions are all subject to change. QB2 October 8, 2012 Share October 8, 2012 This sounds like a good idea, I approve. The above post does not contain facts. q2's the host, QB's the tulpa.

Linkzelda December 17, 2013 Share December 17, 2013 I approve of this as a guide. Even though it’s pretty concise and may have others thinking it’s more of tips rather than an actual guide, there are clearly more types of sensory imposition like this other than just visual that can be addressed more to the community. Previous comments seemed to be concerned about the leash/rope/other materials for constraint leading to something humiliating or negative for the tulpa. However, it should be obvious that if an individual practices this technique often, they’ll know when to sever the ties/bonds/constraint if they make a breakthrough. It goes without saying that this is transient technique, and can be useful for getting the host to acknowledge their tulpas despite of its unorthodox ways to others. It develops a psychosomatic behavior where the host has predispositions in feeling their tulpa is close to them which can be useful for anyone that may have insecurities in finding ways to validate a tulpa's "sentience" or even just their "existence" for that matter. Obviously, people just need to make the link/constraint/etc. longer, and they should be fine.
