Nesq300 March 18, 2013 March 18, 2013 Recently I began the narration stage of the development of my Tulpa, Sue, and... Well, someone almost caught me "talking to air", and I was even facing her. Thankfully, I was only saying things like "Can you hear me, Sue?", and I was wearing earbuds (Just in case). But anyway, I've been wondering... Have you ever been caught narrating to your tulpa aloud? Edit: Somehow, I just realized that she meant "Sue", not "Zue". ...Yay
Lacquer March 18, 2013 March 18, 2013 That beings up a very good point. If you mouth the words instead of saying them fully out loud, and you're wearing headphones while you're doing this, you can disguise your narration as singing along to a song, provided you aren't in the presence of good lip readers.

Vos March 18, 2013 March 18, 2013 I sometimes narrate out loud, but I usually have a headset in and say I'm talking with someone on Skype.

Weird0 March 18, 2013 March 18, 2013 Not really. Since i live alone in a flat i can speak to her out loud all day without someone ever noticing it :3 But i must admit that often i'm just too lazy because mindvoice is the faster and more comfortable way of talking... Splooshie123 March 19, 2013 March 19, 2013 At school a couple times. Classmate: What? Me: Nothing. Just talking to myself. Classmate: oh. ok Since I'm sort of a weirdo, I can even get away with this: "I wasn't talking to you. I was talking to the cabinet" (there's a cabinet next to my desk.)
